MERV-13 Filters are designed to offer added protection from dust, pollen, smoke, mould, bacteria, and any airborne particles with a size of 0.3 microns. Suggested filter replacement is every 3 to 6 months.
Original foam / polyester filters are removed. MERV-13 filters are then installed in both the inlet and outlet sides of your air exchanger.
Note, for units which have been previoulsy balanced with the foam or polyester standard filters,
two MERV-13 filters are highly recommended to keep the balance.
Note, MERV-13 filters will add static thus slighly reducing airflows.
